A Study on the Application of Oxidizing Reagent for Serum Alkaline Phosphatase Assay
Ra Young-Ak

Abstract
The measurement of activity of serum alkaline phosphatase has provided the clinican for diagnosis of disease of the hapatobiliary and skeletal systems. The several analytical methods for clinical chemistry were proposed, including those of Kind-King, Bessey-Lowry, and Bodansky. This study was aimed on the problems of activity of serum alkaline phosphatase between potsssium ferricyanide and potassium iodide-hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing reagent in Kind-King method for serum alkaline phosphatase assay, because potassium ferricyanide has a environmetal contamination and toxic in human. The reaction pH, concentration of hydrogen peroxide, concentration of potassium iodide, absorption spectrum, accuracy an precision stable of end color, and environmental contamination and toxicity in human compare very well and has specific advantage. The results were obtained as follow.
